Shipping Information:
Vintage Timberworks regularly assists customers throughout the United States through independent freight carriers and transportation brokers.
Transportation options, minimum order requirements, and shipping methods vary depending on product type, dimensions, destination, and overall order size.
Important Shipping Notes:
- Vintage Timberworks does not operate its own delivery fleet. Transportation is arranged through independent carriers and brokers.
- Certain products, destinations, and order sizes may not qualify for transportation services.
- If Vintage Timberworks assists in coordinating transportation, any balance due (including transportation costs) must be paid in full prior to scheduling delivery. Customers will be contacted to approve a scheduled pickup and/or delivery date before any material leaves our facility.
- Customers are also welcome to arrange third-party transportation independently if preferred.
- Transportation quotes provided during the estimating process are preliminary estimates only. Freight rates are determined by independent carriers and may change prior to shipment based on market conditions, fuel costs, route availability, equipment availability, scheduling, and other factors outside of Vintage Timberworks’ control.
- Material over 8 feet in length typically requires dedicated transportation rather than standard palletized freight, which can significantly increase transportation costs.
- Dedicated transportation can be costly and may exceed the value of the material itself on smaller orders.
- Smaller orders and individual pieces are best picked up in person.
- Customers are responsible for unloading material upon arrival. Depending on the shipment, unloading may require labor, equipment, or both.
*If transportation is an important part of your project, we encourage you to discuss your specific requirements with our team during the quoting process.
